Cancer Research UK E-Cigarette Project

Prendergast Vale have been invited to support the research team at the University of East London who are currently working on a Cancer Research UK funded project that explores parent/carer views of their children’s possible/actual use of e-cigarettes.

The research will assist UEL in understanding the extent to which parents/carers are endorsing and/or providing e-cigarettes for their children. Recent research suggests that e-cigarette awareness and use is increasing among children and therefore our research project will provide invaluable information for children’s health and wellbeing.

The research comprises an anonymous online survey that takes 5-10 minutes to complete:

Please see the flyer for more information or contact Richard Greenhill (Research Assistant) at UEL via email (r.greenhill@uel.ac.uk) or telephone (0208 223 4391).

The outcomes of the completed research will be discussed with Prendergast Vale teachers, parents and careers and pupils we will be offered an e-cigarette information session.
